To identify what needs healing within you takes courage. Being able to accept yourself fully as you are even when society and family have (in some way or another) taught you that it’s weak to honour your emotions, is not easy. It takes going against what you have normally done. Change isn’t easy. Feeling the depths of what you’ve been running from your whole life isn’t easy, but it is so worth it. You have been running from you! Give yourself permission to heal by honoring how you really feel, at the deepest level. You may not know the depth of healing required if you are unaware of your original wound that may be currently expressing itself through Depression, Anxiety, OCD, C-PTSD, and other mental health issues.
