In this episode we are joined by Michelle Austin, Director of Neighborhood and Community Services!
As we enter the winter months, the City of Clarksville’s Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (CNCS) is working with community partners to ensure that the needs of those experiencing homelessness are met in Clarksville.
Warming shelters will open in Clarksville on December 1, and will be accepting men and women at two locations. Families will also be able to find support.
Additional support is available for individuals facing financial hardship, including those affected by the recent government shutdown. Information on those resources can be found at this link.
These are just some of the many programs CNCS coordinates to help the people of Clarksville.
