This is the sixth of seven sermons going through the opening part of the Gospel of Matthew - including the Sermon on the Mount - which especially highlights the beauty and awesomeness of the Kingdom of God.

Today, Chris looks at the start of Matthew 6:19-34 to explore who we give our heart, our first allegiance, to: God or idols like money? It's the same question Jesus challenged people with over two thousand years ago, and it's the same one we must contend with every day.

Chris is the chair of our Broadview Leadership Team. He is also the Director of College Services for Science and Engineering at Flinders University. At home, he is a dad, a husband and, whilst he doesn't look old enough, is also a granddad to some very special little people in our church family.
