Episode 30: The theme for our October show, "Two Sides to Every Story", provided an opportunity for a little bit of experimentation. We thought it might be fun to explore the nature of truth in true storytelling by looking at an age old adage, that there are two sides to every story. We invited pairs of storytellers to tell their versions of a shared experience or story. We were hoping to dig into what makes a story a story, what we can learn by looking in between the gaps, etc. We sequestered the storytellers while their counterparts were telling their version, so that what the audience got was free from influence. It was pretty danged cool. Part 2 of the show features true stories from scholar/activist Mary Robertson and Narrators co-host Robert Rutherford. These stories were recorded at The Deer Pile on October 17th, 2013 by our good friends at The Denver Diatribe.
The intro and outro music was produced and graciously provided by Sans Seruf, and you can find more slick beats for your earholes over at his bandcamp page.
