* Are Satanists living in a mental cage?* https://medium.com/superior-you/you-are-living-in-a-mental-cage-it-s-why-you-can-t-be-yourself-443e5e870560* Who would we be without the awareness of others behaving on principles similar to our own?* The unhindered Human animal forsakes all convention and takes on any form required in the quest for dominance.* What would a Satanist look like if you removed their emotional consideration of others? Would they even be considered Man in such a state?* Is there a correlation between Satanists and "sociopathy" (ASPD*)?* https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/sociopathy* Sociopathy refers to a pattern of antisocial behaviors and attitudes, including manipulation, deceit, aggression, and a lack of empathy for others. Sociopathy is a non-diagnostic term, and it is not synonymous with "psychopathy," though the overlap leads to frequent confusion. Sociopaths may or may not break the law, but by exploiting and manipulating others, they violate the trust that the human enterprise runs on.* The defining characteristic of the sociopath is a profound lack of conscience—a flaw in the moral compass that typically steers people away from breaking common rules and toward treating others decently. This disconnect, however, may be hidden by a charming demeanor. There is both art and science to spotting sociopathy.* Sociopaths are individuals whose callous, deceitful behavior is shaped primarily by environmental factors, such as child abuse or exposure to expedient behavior in others.* It's arguable that the willful manipulation of others and their environments (lesser magic) is analogous to the actions of someone with "ASPD" coercing an unknowing participant into a perception of reality that they would likely have denied (had it broached their attention). * A foreign observer would likely view greater magic as a delusional frolicking if one's own ego.

It’s Still Up.* https://www.nytimes.com/2021/05/29/us/gun-purchases-ownership-pandemic.html* It was another week with another horrific mass shooting. In cities across the country, gun homicides were climbing. Democrats and Republicans argued over the causes. President Biden said enough.* But beneath the timeworn political cycle on guns in the United States, the country’s appetite for firearms has only been increasing, with more being bought by more Americans than ever before.* While gun sales have been climbing for decades — they often spike in election years and after high-profile crimes — Americans have been on an unusual, prolonged buying spree fueled by the coronavirus pandemic, the protests last summer and the fears they both stoked.* In March last year, federal background checks, a rough proxy for purchases, topped one million in a week for the first time since the government began tracking them in 1998. And the buying continued, through the protests in the summer and the election in the fall,
