B2B Community Builder Show (formerly Chief Executive Connector)

30 | PodMax BRO-NUS Episode- Where Government, Companies, and Social Issues Intersect (Rick Thigpen)

Listen Later

This episode is part of a 2 part collaboration with my bros at Podmax.co that help fascinating people launch and get onto podcasts, so today we speak with Rick Thigpen, Senior Vice President of Corporate Citizenship at the biggest power company in the State of New Jersey, PSEG.

Rick is responsible for the intersection of where the private sector, the public sector, and non-profits come together.  He's also the grandchild of slavery, and has a truly valuable and unique perspective on social justice. He really steps out of his element in this podcast to show a vulnerable side he's long put away inside politics and corporate America, and it leads to an amazing interview.  You'll love it.

I'm really grateful to my Erik Cabral and Josh Cary for bringing me into their awesome Podmax community, allowing me to try something completely different, introducing me to amazing new people, and continually pushing the boundaries of bro-puns so I'm calling this a "BRO-NUS" episode!
