30. Solstice Reflections - Connect with Rhythms of Nature and Change

Listen Later

The word “solstice” originates from Latin roots meaning “Sun” and “to stand still.” According to astronomy, the solstice occurs twice a year when the Sun is the greatest distance from the equator. In astrology, it notes the transition of the Sun to the cardinal signs of Capricorn and Cancer. For the Winter Solstice, we experience the least amount of daylight. For the Summer Solstice, we experience the most amount of daylight.

Wherever you are in the world, the Solstice is a time of pause, a moment of reflection, and a turning point amidst the contrast and extremes. We officially move over the threshold into a new season, a new phase, a new way of co-creating with the dance between light and darkness, known and unknown, seen and unseen.

Everything you desire is possible in some version or form. Create your conscious understanding of what that is and allow the unknown to surprise and delight you with what comes to pass.
