30. the many faces of the mind

Listen Later

For years, I lived with a secret—a shame rooted in feeling like I wasn’t enough. While the world saw someone “put together,” inside I struggled with basic tasks, overwhelming sensitivity, and a crushing sense of inadequacy. This year, everything shifted when I began to understand myself through the lens of neurodivergence and was diagnosed with ADHD.

In this episode, I share my journey of unmasking: from years of self-doubt to discovering the empowering idea of “the many faces of the mind.” I explore how sensitivity, often dismissed as a weakness, can be a superpower—propelling us to imagine new ways forward, especially in challenging times. Drawing inspiration from Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower and the concept of Earthseed, we’ll delve into the unique gifts of neurodivergent individuals as visionaries and connectors in a fractured world.
