Hello! This is a bit unconventional. It's the introduction to an interview with my friend Lisa Even about her new book Joy Is My Job. And this is JUST the introduction.

As I began to record the introduction to this episode, I realized it was turning into an episode in itself. So many thoughts were spurred in my conversation with Lisa, and I hope you'll stay tuned for that conversation. But today, I am priming all of us to start looking for the joy in our own lives, and recognizing the difference between joy that is rooted as a piece of who we are, and a fleeting feeling.
