The month of April this year is very special and significant for us as South Africans as it marks 30 years of the beginning of our democracy where black people voted for the first time in 1994. Unfortunately the atmosphere is no longer as exciting and vibrant due to how people feel on the ground. High unemployment, service delivery, access to good education and unfulfilled promises from the dawn of democracy. How then do we start this month with optimism and positivity to make the best of what our hard-earned democracy brought to our country?
Guest: Dr Mosibudi Mangena – Former Minister of Science and Technology and President of the Azanian People’s Organisation
Guest: Xolelwa Kashe-Katiya – Project lead at Indlulamithi South Africa Scenarios
