On November 4, 1991, music would be changed forever with the release of My Bloody Valentine's legendary sophomore album, Loveless! This week on My Little Underground I celebrate the approaching 30th anniversary of this very important album to not only me but a large amount of indie bands that formed in the late 2000's and into the early 2010's. 1991 was also the year "grunge" was propelled into the mainstream by a little album known as Nevermind from Nirvana thus overshadowing Loveless. I also talk up what this album did for the sub-genre we all know and love, Shoegaze! Let me also correct myself, Smashing Pumpkin's Siamese Dream came out in 1993, NOT 1991.
