Daniele is a mixed-martial artist, college professor, and the host of "History on Fire" and co-host of "The Drunken Taoist" podcasts. If you haven't seen his appearances on Rogan's podcast, I highly recommend them since this episode does not exemplify what I love about Daniele. Better yet, read his book, "Not Afraid: On Fear, Heartbreak, Raising a Baby Girl, and Cage Fighting", which after reading it, is why I love Daniele—parts of it almost made me "ugly-cry" for the first time in years. He cared for his wife while she was dying of brain cancer, raised their baby girl alone, and much, much more. Despite that, he's still able to love and live life to the fullest. His two podcasts mentioned above are fantastic, the latter giving you far more insight into he is than the former, and I hope you consider listening to both, and that you enjoy this conversation.
