Wendell talked about the 1986 & ‘87 seasons at LSU and the heartbreak of coming so close to a national championship twice. We heard about what it’s like on the LSU campus during Alabama week. Wendell talked about what it was like being drafted by the Bears and trying to make a name for himself during his first training camp against the #1 defense in the league. All of the same players on defense were still there in 1988 from that ‘85 Bears dominating defense. He talked about how they trashed talked, trying to get in his head. He also gave us his thoughts for the upcoming season for both LSU and the Bears.
