• The Relationship: Seth notes, "The supraself... is the desired and sought-after model against which you psychically measure your present self."
• Independence: Even though you’re part of a higher "gestalt" or psychological organization, you’re still an independent agent. You’ve got the energy of the supraself at your disposal, but you’re still driving the car.

Death, Dreams, and Daily Life

If you’re worried about the end of the line, Seth has some chillingly good news: death doesn't exist to the whole personality.

• The Dream State: This is where the abilities of the whole self "intrude" upon your ego system, giving you a peek behind the curtain.
• Supernormal Abilities: When you do something "supernormal," you’re just tapping into the supraself’s toolkit.
• Hierarchy of Selves: Just as there are "lesser" personalities within you to whom you look like a god, you are part of a larger supraself that is part of an even higher consciousness-gestalt. It’s gestalts all the way up!
