What the Hell is Up

3.05: Rooted in Desire FEAT. Santa Baby covered by Sug Daniels

Listen Later

What the hell is up? It's the holidays!!! And today I'm examining staying rooted in desire.

You'll hear an incredible cover of Santa Baby by Sug Daniels, who is a Philadelphia-based singer, songwriter, and producer. Sug released an EP called Franklin Street with Weird Sister Records in 2021, and I know you're going to be enchanted by her sweet, folksy yet enticing voice with a ukulele-driven sound in this Sug-afied version of Santa Baby. I also speak briefly about the iconic original singer of this classic Christmas song.

I hope that you might feel inspired to look deeply into your desires, stars. Merry Christmas if you celebrate and happy Solstice to all.

Love you!
