Technology has been the disrupter of our ages. A traditional company comes along and does something great but gets stagnant and doesn't care about it's customers, suddenly an upstart creates and app and simply does "it" better -- whether it's Amazon, Google, Uber or anyone. This isn't the fault of the tech -- perhaps these traditional companies need to get with the times or better yet, do better.
