At age 12, Jacob Aluong found himself running away from an army that was trying to kill him. His family hid in a dense forest but many of them didn’t make it.

He told me, “all my life, all I have known is war. I just want peace.”

Jacob is here in America for the first time to attend a peace conference in D.C. I sat down with him and a couple cameras to record his story.
