In this episode, Randall Jahsson joins us who wrote the story for the 1997 hit, “Mask of Zorro,” starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Antonio Banderas. Yellowbird, or John Rollin Ridge, was part Cherokee and is probably the first US Indigenous author. In 1854, Yellowbird published, “The Life and Adventures of Joaquinn Murieta.” Murieta is considered to be the inspiration for Zorro. Talk a listen!
