From unconsciousness to enlightenment is a journey of the awareness going through several steps/Phases.

Phase 1: Unawareness - functioning on the auto-pilot of mind

Phase 2: Awareness of perception - Mindfulness

Phase 3: Self-Awareness

Phase 4: No-self awareness

Phase 5: Enlightenment.

Meditation Technique: FEEL AN OBJECT BEFORE YOU. FEEL THE ABSENCE OF ALL OTHER OBJECTS BUT THIS ONE. THEN LEAVING ASIDE THE OBJECT-FEELING AND THE ABSENCE-FEELING, REALISE.
