I swear my first few seasons were a bust because I didn't understand scent and wind. Don't make the same mistake I did, tune in and listen to how to use these towards your advantage. 

Scent can also be great for when you can smell an animal like elk. Without seeing them, they could be within a quarter mile just by smelling them. Then you can follow your nose and close the distance.
