In today’s episode, Dr. Siohvaughn Funches continues the series, “When You Can’t Understand the Hand of God, Trust the Heart of God.” Dr. Funches introduces this message by reminding you that God loves you perfectly and there’s nothing you could ever do to change His love for you. Dr. Funches asks you to listen to last week’s message if you have not heard it.
Dr. Funches teaches that there are going to be times when you just do not understand what God is doing, why He is doing it, or the way He is doing it. We don’t understand why something may be taking so long or why something is moving so fast. Understand that God is unconditional love; God is wisdom. God’s wisdom and love work together to shield us from some things. Dr. Fuenches uses the example of a parent leaving a child in the hands of a surgeon for a necessary procedure.Dr. Funches continues with the story of Martha, Mary, and Lazarus, reviewing verses 1–3 and studying verse 4, as well as other passages to show God’s love. Listen in to hear how you can trust in God’s heart as a New Covenant believer of Jesus.
