Perseverance - continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. 

Jason Gardner (30-year Navy SEAL) said it best on Episode 26 of the podcast when he talked about his BUD/S selection training - "I was either going to graduate or I was going to die trying". 

Or Teddy Roosevelt.... "The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming..."

There are lots of times in my life I've had to persevere to overcome tough times. I talk about a few of them in this episode, as well as highlight some of the strategies I use to fight and win those battles. Perseverance, especially in this day and age, is something we could all use more of.
