In hour 1 of Truth In The Afternoon, Dr. Ken Harris kicks off the show with an excerpt from an Black Enterprise article where Ohio University cancelled a Black Alumni weekend event due to DEI concerns which prompts Dr. Ken to ask: Why would that stop any celebration of black excellence & success in any capacity, as well as urging the black community to build and enhance DEI for our own benefit through black owned endeavors and benefits. Dr. Ken also discusses a recent LA Times story reporting police department racism & how this could be a sign of much worse to come.
