He was born in Odessa, he graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Anatomy and a Doctorate in Chiropractic. His undergraduate studies were at North Harris County College and Texas Tech University. He has been a Rotarian since 1992 and serves on their board.
