Travel isn’t just something I do — it’s been the backbone (quite literally) of my journey. I started my business after breaking my back, and since then, travel has become an integral part of my life. After visiting 76 countries (68 of which are UN-recognised), I’ve learned that the true essence of travel is connection — with people, culture, and oneself. From wearing a salwar kameez in India to sleeping in airport corners with a good pillow, it’s been about respect, resilience, and readiness. As I aim to visit every country by 50, it’s not just about ticking boxes, but embracing each story, each nuance. Especially in South Asia, I’ve seen how effort — even learning a few words — can turn you from a tourist into a welcomed guest.
