Guest: Jairo Blumenthal. Jairo is a prosthetist and orthetist, and he is the very first Brazilian graduate in O & P in the USA. After returning to Brazil, Jairo served as Clinical and Prosthetic Director responsible for Correct Clinical Prostheses and Orthoses, in Porto Alegre, for over 20 years. Also, during this period Jairo worked in several positions with Ossur, a world leader in components for high-tech prostheses, both in Europe and in Latin America. His last position at the company was Vice President Commercial & Marketing for the entire Latin American continent. Jairo lectured and taught courses in more than 30 countries, being an active member of the American Academy of Prosthodontists and Orthotists and the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics.
