Meet Casdon and Savvy—a star-studded couple from UVU with a love story full of heart, resilience, and growth. Casdon, from Twin Falls, Idaho, and Savvy, from Aurora, Utah, both shined in college—she as a collegiate cheerleader and he on the UVU basketball team. Though they came from small towns, their connection was anything but small.

Their relationship blossomed when the timing was right, leading to a deep, undeniable chemistry. Despite the usual ups and downs, with the support of friends and mentors, they got engaged in December 2019 and planned a spring wedding. But the pandemic shifted their plans, leading to a beautiful, intimate ceremony at the Payson Temple on March 20th.

Their first year of marriage took them to Oahu, where Casdon pursued his master’s in finance at the University of Hawaii while they learned how to navigate marriage together on the beautiful island. Through their journey, Casdon and Savvy have embraced communication, understanding, and compromise, proving that soulmates aren’t found—they’re made.
