How does safety work on your crew? We work surrounded by hazards. If you’re working the ground. You might be the one who has to run into the drop zone, grab an awkward chunk of tree, and get out before the next chunk comes down. If you’re chipper is parked on the street, you’re working in traffic. If you’re chipping your feeding a machine that is designed to chew you up and spit you out. Then there’s the guy hanging from a rope with a chainsaw. The forces around us can be mind boggling! And in the middle of all that we are trying to make a pay check.
