In this episode of *Squeezing the Plums*, Steve and Ben explore the best ways each and every person can go from an IDEA to a creating a BUSINESS.
Ben started his first business in 2012 called Five point Four, where he cooked meals for high performing athletes. It started off with just a few athletes, but within a few months he was cooking over 500 meals every weekend. And within a few years, he had a commercial kitchen turning over almost 3,000,000 meals with a projected annual revenue of 15million.
He learnt everything about entrepreneurship whilst completing his university degree and working part time in a supplement store.
Fivepointfour was a disruptor to the likes of Jenny Craig and Light and Easy before a horrible change in fate.
In this podcast we discuss what happened to Fivepointfour and Ben’s journey to get back onto the startup train including his new business recently advertised by Ian Thorpe called My Charity Change.
And most importantly Ben spends this podcast leaning into the key learnings and advice he provides to start up founders as part of his consultancy work in Australia.
