As part of 3rd & East’s 32 in 32 series, we continue with the defending NFC North champion Lions. The Lions were the feel good team the entire year beating very good competition and having a high powered offense led by Amon Ra St Brown and Jared Goff. Dan Campbell’s aggressive coaching got them to the NFC championship game against the 49ers where the dominated them. That same play calling however doomed them as major mistakes by Campbell combined with a resurgent 49ers team cost the Lions their first ever Super Bowl appearance. Now expectations are very high for them this year, can the Lions make the Super Bowl?!
