Despite mandatory evacuation orders, Joy dodged the barricades and went towards the smoke and fire to defend her homestead.

She is a also a world-class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor from Team Alpha Male, having recently won her purple belt debut on the professional Fight 2 Win stage.
