On the mountain, Jesus’ divine glory was unveiled before Peter, James, and John, revealing him as the radiant Son of God and the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets. As the Father’s voice declared, “This is my Son, my Chosen One; listen to him,” the disciples were called to hear and heed Christ above all others. In beholding his glory, we are invited to respond with reverent hope and worship, listening to his Word as the light that guides us through the darkness.
