The rain in Southern California can be devastating on a grand scale, but it can also be an unwelcome visitor to someone spending a few days there as a tourist. And it may not rain often, but when it does it can be quiet the bath. Mandi Marquardt saw this firsthand at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood. But sometimes we need to get every ounce out of our commitment and the sunk cost.
