Seaweed grows along rocky shorelines around the world, and it's a big part of Asian cuisine. But did you know that Seaweed can be mass-produced as bioplastic for commercial and industrial use as an effort to aid our fight against climate change??🤔
This is our first in-studio episode! (Video & audio recorded) We are joined by seaweed entrepreneur Ivana Tay (@ivanatay) to talk about how we can combat climate change by growing seaweed and manufacturing products using seaweed to replace plastic film, clothing, and more!
We also discuss Ivana's mixed Chinese-Peruvian heritage, racism within the Asian community, and the importance of composting, and Lilly's crazy New York adventures!
