How to Build a Genuine Relationship on Social Media (without being Sleazy)
If you’re in the online entrepreneurial space then I’m sure your inbox has been flooded with cold DM’s from people and businesses trying to pitch you their products or services without the decency of first asking “how are you?”
It feels icky.
It feels sleazy.
It feels ungenuine.
A few years back, I had someone reach out to me on Facebook who used a different approach. It wasn’t like all the sleazy sales messages I would normally receive. I could tell this guy was different.
I sensed he genuinely cared about me.
He led the conversation by giving value first before asking for anything.
This approach had a lasting impact on me and resulted in us working together for the past 2+ years.
