#32 Young and Newly Sober w/ Leana

Morgan Mc talks to people about their spiritual practice (or lack there of) in an attempt to shed some light, laughter, and love on possibly the most contentious and controversial topic in human history. Through long form interview and dialogue participants will share insight and wisdom on how spirituality and religion informs every aspect of our daily lives; whether seen or unseen, accepted or denied, rejoiced or cursed. Like many contemporary practitioners, Morgan began his practice in 2008 after finding recovery from addiction, family dysfunction, and childhood/adolescent trauma. Morgan has a background in recovery, conflict studies, social work, and therapeutic/mental health education, and has spent time in various spiritual and religious communities. On this winding path, he reconciled with the faith of his childhood and found its full expression in the Catholic Church. Though a practicing Christian he maintains connection and service in the various recovery and spiritual communities that guided him in his spiritual and religious formation. Morgan currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
