Bypolls were held in 15 constituencies in Karnataka on 5 December, and with just four days to go for the results, which will be announced on 9 December, all eyes are on the state of Karnataka again.

For Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, who still hasn’t completed a term as CM, and the BJP, which just came to power in the state….these polls are critical.

But why are polls being held again, barely four months after Karnataka got a new government?

Who’ll form the govt after this election? 

Will the Congress and JDS make a comeback? Or will the BJP emerge victorious?
