Brothers and sisters, today’s topic of Treasures for the Soul is “The Word became flesh (1).”

The gospel of John starts by telling us the Lord is the Word. He is God. Word is speech. The Lord came to manifest God. John 1:14 reads, “The Word became flesh.” This gives a clear answer to the question “What is man?” No one has seen God. But through God’s only Begotten Son, who became a man, lived and experienced life on earth, God was manifested. Furthermore, we can continue to know Him more and experience Him more deeply.
