Why does Jesus keep going? He knows what is coming. He knows the opposition he will face. He knows the suffering and death he will endure. He knows how the cheers on Sunday will turn to jeers on Friday. Yet he keeps going to the cross. He disregards its shame. He endures all matter of hostility at the hands of sinners. He keeps going for us. So we watch. We worship. We fix our eyes on Jesus and do not lose heart.
