This Holy Week, we gathered on Good Friday to remember and reflect on the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Co-lead pastor Ricky walked through Mark 14:32-42, when Jesus calls out to his Father and asks that the cup of God's wrath be taken from him if possible. But, there was no other way for us to have atonement for sin and right relationship with God.
Because of Jesus's sacrifice, the curtain separating us from the Holy Place of God is torn in two! We now have full access to God the Father. May we reflect on our sin in appreciation of Jesus and not in shame. Thank you, Jesus, for your sacrifice on the cross for us!
