Because of the fall, there is no peace. We have no peace with God, with one another, or with ourselves. But through His passion, death, and resurrection, Jesus Christ bought us peace with God, which we celebrate at every Mass. The price of this peace wasn’t cheap. It cost every drop of His precious blood.
