Children/teens are looking for mom, dad, guardians to be the example. To show them what being thankful is all about. Being thankful is not an innate or natural ability we are born with. It must be modeled, taught, and put into practice (You show, you tell and you let child/teen do it.).

Sarah Ban Breathnack once said, “You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: the more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you.
