One of the most humble dudes you'll ever meet made time for me as we chopped it up about the good old days. Ben and I first met each other at the ripe age of 8 at Colgate Games, 9 years later we were facing one another when King's met Sacred Heart 1st XV. One year out of school and we were donning the mighty Hautapu hoops too.

Comparing our childhood growing up on a farm and moving to the big smoke of Auckland for boarding school, Ben also covers how he managed to cop 6 knee reconstructions in as many years and how his new passion of groundskeeping for golf courses and Rugby Stadiums has put him in good steed.
