Hello Petal(s),
Lol. I used to have a friend who used to say âpetalâ as a term of endearment rather than âloveâ or âhoney.â And what an adorable word to use for Spring and acknowledgment of how you are a part of a beautiful collective as a unique individual. A part of a whole. Our One Collective.
Today, I share tips in this podcast episode on elevating your Gratitude Practice if itâs feeling stale. And itâs Spring, after all! Add some fresh âflowersâ (aka details) to it, and make it enjoyable for you!
I do want to add â that at the end of this episode â I share that you can mix modalities but didnât get super deep into it. You can use breathwork (deep breath in and out) while you think or say your words of gratitude. And really feel it in your body. You can also use visualization to see different colors with your body, for example, or visuals of what gratitude looks like to you â i.e. sparkling pink gratitude rain washing over you.
The fun thing about the brain, body, and nervous system is that the brain doesnât know the difference between whatâs real and whatâs not, and you are training your nervous system for safety (the parasympathetic nervous system) to become more open and aware of whatâs possible.
Habits stack over time. It only takes 5 minutes a day, any time of the day. đ
Soul Simple, Soul Amazing,
Christian Joy
