I’ve received a lot of questions about becoming a freelancer/virtual assistant, but one of the most common questions I’ve heard is “Is this like direct sales or MLM company?”

 

While I absolutely have nothing against direct sales (I was with one for 3 years), I wanted to take a moment to distinguish between the two. With Freelancing/Virtual Assistance, you still get to set your own schedule and have the freedom to work on your own time like you would with a direct sales company, but there are a ton of added benefits of having your own freelancing business that MLMs do not provide.
