Joel is the coalition manager at Causa Oregon, an organization that works to improve the lives of immigrants & their families in Oregon through advocacy, coalition building, leadership development & civic engagement. 

He comes on the show to talk about Oregon being the battleground for immigration policy, giving the backstory on how we got to where we are, and the importance of immigration laws on the West Coast.
