Is it possible to be too offended? Probably. I think I was too offended because I tried to do a nice thing and got my feeling hurt over a strange miscommunication. And even though this podcast makes it sound like I'm in the right. Don't forget that there's two sides to every story. Even though it makes me mad, I really have no idea what that person was going through when they messaged me. I hope I handle the situation differently if it comes up again in the future. And as a side note, if you do the leg work to find out who this was, don't be an asshole. It won't help anybody.
