Happy International Women's Day! I got the opportunity to chat with THEE Karen Rupert Toliver. Trying to find Black women in senior positions of leadership has been extremely difficult. Karen is the only Black woman I know to hold the title of Creative Executive. I titled this episode "Northern Star" because though our paths are different, I do see Karen as a pioneer for women like myself who aspire for more. We spoke about how she ended up in the animation industry, the different types of creative executives, and more.
