Jonathan Edwards wrote “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” which, in my opinion, drastically distorts the character of God and is responsible for major problems in Evangelicalism. Edwards also wrote a brilliant apologetic for emotional outbursts and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit, which I wholeheartedly believe in. If the great Jonathan Edwards had have blind spots, so do we all.
