#33: The Cru Write Adichie: Aigrette

Listen Later

This week we’ve got a special author episode, exploring the work of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. We explore alternate cultures, get meta with it, and discuss Adichie’s work and how it influenced our own writing. Stories feature memories of a scarf; a case of missing identity; a girl like all the other girls; and a trip to a foreign land.
From Brewer's Dictionary of Phrase and Fable:
Aigrette (2 syl.) A lady;s headdress, consisting of feathers or flowers.  The French call the down of thistles and dandelions, as well as the tuft of birds, aigrette.
